✈️ New Medellín - Neiva Route: Launch Date and Frequencies
Starting June 24, the new direct air connection between Medellín and Neiva officially begins operations, offering three weekly frequencies:
- Mondays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
This schedule provides a comfortable and efficient alternative for travelers moving between Antioquia and Huila, avoiding long overland journeys.
🎉 The Perfect Time to Travel: San Pedro Festivities and the Traditional “Rodadita”
The launch of this route comes at the ideal time for travelers. Between June 27 and June 29, Neiva celebrates the San Pedro Festival, one of the most important cultural events in southern Colombia.
During these dates, the city hosts the famous “Rodadita,” a vibrant parade filled with music, dance, color, and Huila’s rich traditions, attracting visitors from all over the country. Flying from Medellín allows travelers to arrive just in time to enjoy the festive atmosphere and immerse themselves in a truly authentic cultural experience.
🏙️ Direct Connection to the Heart of Medellín
One of the key highlights of this new operation is that the Neiva - Medellín flight lands directly at Olaya Herrera Airport, located in the very heart of the city.
This offers several advantages:
- Shorter travel times within Medellín
- Quick access to business, tourism, and commercial districts
- Greater convenience for frequent travelers and tourists alike
🌄 An Air Bridge Between Two Vibrant Regions
This new route does more than connect cities—it brings together cultures, flavors, and experiences. From Medellín’s urban energy and coffee culture to Neiva’s warmth, traditions, and folkloric richness, traveling between these two destinations is now faster and more accessible.
Whether you’re planning a cultural getaway, a business trip, or want to experience the San Pedro festivities at their best, now is the perfect time to fly.
